Nicole Burchett
Head of School
Nicole Burchett serves as the Head of School at Ironbridge Christian Academy, where she is passionate about building a thriving Christ-centered school that equips students to grow academically, spiritually, and in character. She is committed to fostering a culture of excellence while partnering with families to provide an education grounded in biblical truth.
Nicole earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and her Master of Education in Reading, Literacy, and Learning from Longwood University and is a certified K–12 Reading Specialist. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Liberty University, reflecting her belief that great leaders are lifelong learners who continually seek opportunities to grow, lead with wisdom, and better serve others.
With more than a decade of experience in both public and private education, Nicole has served in a variety of teaching and leadership roles. Her background has given her a deep understanding of effective instruction, literacy development, and the importance of cultivating a positive school culture. She is passionate about developing educators, investing in future leaders, and creating an environment where students, families, and staff feel known, valued, and supported.
As both the Head of School and an ICA parent, Nicole is deeply invested in the mission of the academy. She and her husband, Nathan, have three children who attend Ironbridge Christian Academy, giving their family a firsthand appreciation for the transformative impact of a Christ-centered education. Nicole considers it a privilege to lead a community dedicated to academic excellence, authentic discipleship, and partnering with families to raise the next generation to know, love, and serve Christ.

Alese Cousin
Preschool Principal

Alese Cousin serves as the Preschool Principal at Ironbridge Christian Academy, bringing a heart for serving others, a passion for children, and strong leadership to our preschool program. She first became part of the ICA family as a parent, with her two children enrolled at the academy. It didn't take long for our team to recognize her exceptional gifts, and we were thrilled to welcome her onto our staff.
Alese earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Valley City State University and a Master of Science in Leadership and Human Resource Education from Louisiana State University (LSU). Before her career in education, she and her husband proudly served in the United States Air Force, an experience that shaped her commitment to service, leadership, and community.
Known for her servant's heart and natural ability to care for others, Alese is passionate about creating a welcoming, nurturing environment where young learners can grow academically, socially, and spiritually. She loves partnering with families during these foundational years and is dedicated to helping each child feel known, loved, and encouraged as they begin their educational journey.
Diana Harper
Elementary Principal

Diana Harper serves as the Elementary Principal at Ironbridge Christian Academy, where she is passionate about cultivating a Christ-centered learning environment that supports both academic excellence and spiritual growth. As a product of private Christian education from kindergarten through twelfth grade, she understands the lasting impact of a faith-filled education and is committed to providing that same experience for every ICA student.
Diana earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, Master of Education in Reading and Culture from Longwood University. She is also certified K-12 Reading Specialist. Before entering the classroom, she and her husband, Will, served together in ministry, where they developed a deep love for serving families and building meaningful relationships. She later joined ICA as an elementary teacher before stepping into her current role as Elementary Principal.
As both a school leader and an ICA parent, Diana has a unique perspective on the importance of a strong partnership between home and school. She and her husband have two sons who attend Ironbridge Christian Academy, giving her a firsthand appreciation for the Christ-centered education, caring community, and meaningful relationships that make ICA so special.
